Bringing Scrapbooking to Fifth Graders

The Newport News-Times reports
a fifth grade teacher partnered with a local scrapbook vendor to teach fifth graders scrapbooking skills including photography, color wheel and journaling. The class does scrapbooking once a month, focusing on appropriate themes for the season and the school. This is a great way to combine a broad variety of skills while having fun in the classrooom. Teachers of community events and even history should consider if this might enhance their curriculum.
