3M's Scotch Brand introduces a new line of glue sticks for kids, called "Gluguls", billed as "Alien Glue Sticks".

As the story goes, the Gluguls are from another planet, but were left stranded here on Earth. So now that they're "stuck" here, they decided to lend their unique bonding powers to kids, helping them with the crafting projects.

Gluguls are made from the same stuff as with all other Scotch Glue Sticks.

Oh MY GAWSH!!!!!!! THE things they do today to make kids whine, "MOMMY I WANT ONE!" I can just imagine the kids yelling inside of WalMart: "MOMMY I WANT AN ALIEN GLUE STICK!" What a gimmick. Gluguls. They are like 90% plastic accessories, 10% glue. I mean, how does a plastic hat on your glue stick help you accomplish your science project? I do understand that these "alien glue sticks" are meant for younger folks, but still! I guess some companies are so obsessed with business and money that they will make anything to make a fast buck. I mean, really. What next? Alien Tape? Alien Scissors? Alien....
Pencils? Wait they already have those. Still, how "scrappin'" bogus.
