SnapJot Offers an Online Scrapbook Sharing

by SteveMonday, December 05, 2005

SnapJotSnapJot is similar to an online photo sharing site, except it goes a step further allowing to document an event, vacation, or experience, using text, photos, video and audio.

You organize everything into album pages, very similar to digital scrapbooking, and then invite your family and friends to see it all. Visitors can add their own comments, and even add their own photos too. You can have Snapjot create a DVD for you.

SnapJot also allows you to create a "story" in real time, by giving you the ability to upload photos and text via camera phone, or any mobile device. So while you're out on a vacation, you can build a SnapJot album on the go.

SnapJot offers quick-start templates for themes like vacations/travel, classrooms, youth sports, weddings, baby books, holidays, family events and personal journals.

  • Have you checked out OurStory.com? They have a similar service, which allows you to share timelines of personal and family history. There is also a photo feature, as well as the ability to print a nicely bound book which you can give as a keepsake. It's a pretty cool site!
