MemoryMixer Lite Announced

by SteveThursday, July 20, 2006

MemoryMixerMemoryMixer, a popular digital scrapbooking software, is now available in a "lite" version called MemoryMixer Lite.

The new product has the same popular features as the original MemoryMixer, the only
difference being the quantity of content. MemoryMixer Lite offers less QuickMixes, backgrounds, and embellishments, but allows a Lite user to buy additional content as desired. Thus customers can upgrade to the full version at their own pace.

MemoryMixer Lite allows users to combine digital video, sound, photos, computer graphics and typewritten text into a multimedia experience that brings memories to life. It also incorporates narration capabilities, such as a family member's voice, adding a more personal and meaningful touch. In addition, users can digitally scan memorabilia such as report cards, ticket stubs, or a child's drawing. MemoryMixer has multiple output options that include DVD, CD, beautiful hardbound photobooks and traditional print (professional printing or at-home printing) and uniquely retains its print quality throughout the creative process.

MemoryMixer Lite is the result of Lasting Impressions' partnership with StoryRock, the world's largest provider of digital yearbook technology for schools. StoryRock's digital approach to creating and enjoying yearbooks adds an entirely new dimension to capturing school memories.

MemoryMixer Lite will be available in July 2006 and will be priced at $29.95 for a broad consumer audience. The new product is compatible with either PC or Mac systems.

Looks like it could also be used to hold notes and answers for tests.

MyPublisher Introduces Restyled Cover Options for Photobooks - Plus New Cover Colors for Summer

by SteveWednesday, July 05, 2006

MyPublisher PhotoBookMyPublisher, Inc., a provider of software and value-added printing services for digital photo users, announced today the availability of two new re-designed cover style options -- the Picture Window Cover and the Classic Label Cover.

The company also launched its new seasonal cover color program with the introduction of lime, mango and tangerine linen covers for summer.

The new Picture Window cover design gives MyPublisher's Photobooks a sophisticated look while the removal of the window frame makes for easier stacking and shelving. MyPublisher's Picture Window Cover is a sleek style with a self-contained window displaying the cover photo and title customers choose for their PhotoBook. The window is enclosed on the interior cover with a grey, archival-quality paper. The Classic Label cover displays the cover photo and book title on a high-quality, picture stock label that is adhered to the center of the cover.

The chic summer cover colors -- lime, mango and tangerine -- are a perfect way to encapsulate those sunny, summer memories. Customers can create their PhotoBooks using digital photos taken during summer vacations or a day at the beach then select one of the complementary summer cover colors to add a little flair.
