the year you were born albumThe Year You Were Born Album

Create a scrapbook album of photos and items pertaining to the year a child was born.

If you are looking for an inexpensive but treasured baby gift, try a "Year You Were Born" album. This gift grows more special with each passing year.

Buy an inexpensive photo album. Insert items such as headlines from the newspaper on the day of the baby's birth, ads that reflect current trends and pricing, movie and TV listings, and a few other main stories from the baby's local area. You can also insert things from magazines, car catalogues and pictures from the baby's family of how they looked.

Arrange all of the items in a fashionable way - showcase trendy colors and put in fun sayings of the moment too. Write a little note inside the front cover to explain what the album is and a brief rundown of what was happening in the world on the day he/she was born. Don't forget to include top songs and government leaders too!

It takes a little time to put this together - but the love put into it, will radiate out to the newborn for a lifetime.
